the let me in, let me in, the flower is you friend, feels like chorus of a song to me. it sings off the page. nice poem.
Thank you! Yeah that’s exactly how it sounded like when I heard it in my head the first time. It was like: “Red door, red door. Let me in. Every flower is a friend.” And then it evolved into what I wrote in the poem.
